My husband and I had a private trekking tour to Mardi Himal in Oct2023. We had a great time from start to finish. I first contacted Babu (owner of the company), he replied personally and promptly to all questions that I had. He gave honest opinion and not trying to sell his tours.

Our guide was Krishna, very knowledgeable, genuine, kind, polite, and helpful. He took great care of us since day1 where we met in KTM, we asked him where we could buy trekking poles, jackets, etc he happily showed us around. He delivered great service and is always happy and positive. After the tour ends, he even checked on us to make sure we returned to town safely. Our porter was Rassem, a strong young man. He was always caring and making sure we were ok. He was there to help us with everything we needed, always smiling. Right before we reached the viewpoint I could not move any further, Rassem even helped carry me. Krishna and Rassem worked together so well.

We are both beginners. This was our 1st trek. We had an amazing time trekking. Mardi was so beautiful and we had such a good team. In the end we became friends and hope to stay in touch.

We plan to visit again in the near future. We will definitely use your service again!

We found that the itinerary and the service we received far exceeded the price we paid.

We made an extremely nice 4 days Poon Hill trek in april. We are a couple in 60’s and not very experienced trekkers. The trek was physically demanding but just in limits to our fitness.
We had unforgettable four days. Our guide Santosh was just perfect. He really gave us all we needed and a lot more. We really appreciate his work.
We were also lucky with weather:)
All trek arrangements worked fine and as was agreed.
Booking was easy and communication with Babu worked fine.

The Mardi Himal was my first trek in Nepal. I organized the trip with Adventure Great Himalaya Trek. Being a first timer and also someone who’s scared of heights, I had no problem hiking up to the base camp. The view was amazing, the trip was excellent. My guide Ram Thakuri was very accommodating and helpful.
Mr. Babu provided me with the details beforehand and also gave me trekking poles which really helped.
The experience was amazing and it’s all thanks to Babu and Ram.
The package prices are good compared to other tour companies.

My family and I (wife and daughters aged 10 and 8) did the 4 day Poon Hill trek. It was a really good experience. Babu and his team organised everything for the trek for us – guide, porters, teahouses to stay in. The package also included all our meals and they even lent us a sleeping bag and extra duffel bag to carry things.

The price was fairly standard for this kind of trip, as was the accommodation (although our guide went out of his way to get us the best rooms at every place).

The reason for the 5/5 rating was the outstanding guide, Dinesh and the two helpful porters. Dinesh was knowledgeable, thoughtful and looked after all of us wonderfully (in particular my youngest daughter). He even carried my daughter up the last part of Poon Hill when we did our sunrise trek there. Rajesh and Raj, our porters were similarly fantastic at helping us.

Krishna was bright, intelligent, engaging, funny, very fluent in English, had an excellent knowledge on the trek, the Nepalese culture, the surrounding vegetation,etc. We could not have asked for a better experience! We were blessed with wonderful weather and excellent trekking conditions!
Babu, the owner was also wonderful. He was very organized,quick to respond back to emails, met us at our hotel in Kathmandu, and again when we were departing Nepal. He is very professional and designed a perfect trek for the four of us!

This time it was my first trip to trekking in Nepal, I was worried about many things.
But Babu’s team has very good care, starting from the airport pick up, take me to exchange money, buy a SIM card. BaBu has explained about trekking schedule very clear, and advises me to not have to exchange money more than necessary.
This time I chose to move to Pokhara by used the domestic flight of Nepal.
Babu arrange me a flight and Taxi to pick me up from airport to the hotel, so it made me felt very comfortable during traveled. And the driver come to pick me up always on time.
The day before trekking to ABC, the guide came to the hotel to introduce himself and explain about route for trekking and necessary equipment also. His name is Ram Which the person who will be both to be guide and the Porter for me this time.
Ram is a funny person and has a good knowledge of trekking ABC routes. My body conditions is not good enough for ABC trekking. Therefore, Ram trying to save as much energy as possible to make me walk up to the goal that ABC has achieved. Ram will always ask about my condition and switch to rest to maintain my physical condition. Throughout the trekking the Babu team will take care all meals and accommodation expenses. There will be only water and miscellaneous items that we have to pay for ourselves made the cost management is as planned.
This time I chose to go for trekking at the end of December. The weather is very cold enough when we arrived to the Chomrong area. The weather is obviously cold. Combined with the accumulated fatigue, my condition began to worsen. I couldn’t start eating, feeling tired faster and couldn’t sleep. When entering the 5th day of trekking, the weather became noticeably cold. The temperature in the morning begins to be minus degree. But the weather outside it was so sunny made my body’s warm, so we decided to continue trekking. We decided to walk from Chomrong to MBC, but when we arrived at MBC, the weather changed very quickly. At night, the air was negative to -18 degrees. My body was chilling, even covering two layers of blankets.
The meals that was prepared for me was not able to eat at all. Drink only milk. And began to feel a severe headache. Therefore, I tried to coordinate to Babu to help. After that Babu tried to find a helicopter for me to return back. But the cost is very high so BaBu suggested me to walk up to sleep on ABC one night so that while they will trying to find a shared helicopter with other customers, the rental price would be cheaper. In the next day I tried to walk up to ABC in the morning. I received good news from Babu that he can find a helicopter to share with other customers, so I sleep one night on ABC and get a helicopter back for 250 USD price.
After return back from Pokhara, Babu organised a trip for me to travel to Kathmandu for one day trip by providing both cars and guides at a special price. There is a good team work between the guide and the driver. Making me able to travel to Nepal, including Monkey Temple, Patan Durber Square, Thamel, just a half day trip.
For those who are thinking of traveling to Trekking on ABC, I recommend that you try to fit your body well. And if you wish to travel in the winter Should carry the equipment to make warm appropriately. So you will walk up ABC for safely.

Annapurna Circuit and Everest base camp Trek with Adventure Great Himalaya, I am Patrick from USA Travel in  Nepal with my Family. This is the second time that I have had Babu and his team arranges a fantastic Annapurna Circuit  trek for our family. Both have been excellent, professional experiences. Several years ago my family of 4 did a trek including the Annapurna circuit and a portion of the Annapurna sanctuary. Since Babu had done such a great job on that trip, I used his agency  ( Adventure Great Himalaya) again for the latest trip.
I just got back from this year’s trek to the Everest region flying to Lukla and then trekking to Namche bazaar, Gokyo, the Renjo La and back via Thame. It was a wonderful experience. I used Babu and His company hire a Guide and  2 porters to carry our gear. He provided 2 excellent porters including one who spoke English well. I also used Babu to obtain our plane tickets from Kathmandu to Lukla.
We traveled for over 3 weeks with our children who are now 8 and 12 years old. Babu’s agency is quickly growing due to his professional character, extensive experience, and easy ability to personally tailor your trip to what you want it to be.
Babu can arrange for a wide variety of trips including to Safari’s, various adventure sports, air and land travel, and plenty more.

Few of my friends had good experience with Adventure Great Himalaya for their ABC trekking in Nepal. This is my first attempt at trekking In Nepal and being a city person by nature, I am fortunate to engage the services from Mr. Babu Karki who is the Managing Director of Adventure Great Himalaya. Throughout the five months prior to my trip in November, Mr. Babu has been responsive to my queries, all the while reassuring me that the Ghorepani-Poonhill trek is doable for me.

I believe Mr. Babu has sent me his best guide, Santosh, to make my trip more manageable and enjoyable. I am thankful to have a responsible and patient guide as he is. I am Santosh’s new record as the slowest trekker in all his seven years as a guide. So it goes to show how bad I am at trekking and how patient he was.

My services from Mr. Babu also include a private car service from Kathmandu to Pokhara and return. Again, I am pleased to have a responsible and reliable driver. The stories on “terrible” road conditions did not really apply to me because Naba drove carefully to get me safely from Kathmandu to Pokhara and back. I also made a last minute decision to engage Naba, through Mr. Babu, as my driver for a day instead of going through the hassle of using multiple cab drivers to visit places of interests in Kathmandu city.

Last but not least, Mr. Babu gave me a good first impression. A smart businessman he is, Mr. Babu also genuinely displays care and concern on the well-being of all his clients.

I had been trekking with Babu for three times in Nepal from 1999 to 2004. I really appreciated his service.He was responsible and provided professional advice for usin the journey. Besides,he was so thoughtful in taking care of us.I felt secure in the journey because he had tried his best to protect us all the time.During the journey, we always laughed because he was so humorous. During the second journey, I was very impressed because I could experience the living of the village people. By the help of Babu, we communicated with the village people.They were so friendly and sincere. We could learn more about the custom in Nepal from him.
