A Big thanks to Babu and his team for organizing this trip for us. 4-day trek in the foothills around Chisapani and Nagarkot warming up pre EBC, our Guide Rakesh was great fun and the chance to see rural Nepal was a real eye opener and enjoyable. Easy access from Kathmandu and good accommodation was also a plus. EBC/ Kala Pattar via the three high passes with trip to summit Island Peak 19 days, not including days in Kathmandu / Traveling. 30 days total. A Big thanks to Santosh and Buddha we could not have had a better team. A big plus for me was that Santosh is very flexible in his approach and was constantly looking at ways to help us succeed. We had our oxygen and pulse checked daily to ensure acclimatization was on track and occasionally he managed to get us rooms with private facilities which was appreciated.

We had to bring forward the climb up Island Peak as there was bad weather moving in,a good Call. This also meant that we had to skip the Khogmala pass however the alternative high traverse to Dughla and on to Lobuche was possibly the best days trekking I have done; the views were exceptional. Another person I’d like to mention is Nigma Sherpa my high-altitude climbing guide, without him I wouldn’t have got to the top, I submitted on my own and had it to myself for a short while, which was greatly appreciated. Top bloke I would climb with him any day. All in All, a very successful trip and yes, I would use this company again, in fact I’m already looking at options.
