How Difficult 5 Days Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The 5-day Annapurna Base Camp trek is a shorter and faster version that comes with its own set of challenges. You’ll need to walk for 7 to 8 hours on some days, climbing up several thousand meters in altitude. The quick gain in altitude, about a thousand meters each day, can be tricky due to potential altitude-related challenges. It’s important to plan and prepare carefully for this aspect of the trek.

The steep trails can make your trek a bit challenging. Throughout the 5-day ABC trek, you’ll encounter narrow paths and steps where you need to walk carefully. If others are crossing, it’s courteous to step aside and let them go first.
