Booking Terms and Conditions
Adventure Great Himalaya Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. e Team is deeply thankful of all the individuals who have chosen the company as your preferred travel agency. The company is registered within the Government of Nepal (Registration Number- 62234/065/066). The company is located in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal. Mr. Babu Karki is the Chairman of the Company.
The Terms and Conditions contain information related to the Bookings, Cancellation, Payment, Refund, and other charges as per the company policy. It is essential that you read them carefully and understand them. The Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between Adventure Great Himalaya and the clients for the services provided by and set out on the basis of the legal relationship with Adventure Great Himalaya Team.
Bookings and Payments
All bookings are made with Adventure Great Himalaya Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. Consider the following points before booking a trip.
(A) Booking processing
To process a Booking, you must send us a completed booking form with 25% of the total cost. Please note that the initial booking deposit is non-refundable. This will constitute the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions on the client’s end. We require you to email by scanning copy of passport to our office in Kathmandu email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 00977-1-4701262, 00977-1-4701263. After receiving the photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your advance, we will send you the final confirmation receipt.
(B) Trip Deposit
Any and all deposits for a trip are required on a per person basis. Please contact us regarding direct deposit details. A bank service charge, as imposed by the bank, should be paid at the time of deposit.
The remaining balance is required to be paid by $ USD Cash before the departure on the trip at the Adventure Great Himalaya Office in thamel, Kathmandu. If you pay with a credit/debit card in Nepal we will charge an additional fee of 13% to cover local taxes and Vat
2. Cancellation & Booking Changes
All cancellations and booking changes are only possible as mentioned in the points below:
(A) If any cancellations have to make after full payment of any trip, only 45% of the trip payment will be refunded.
(B) In case of any unforeseen circumstances such as natural disaster, bad weather or political instability, the company holds any and all the rights to cancel a trip. The company will suggest another trip of similar price and client preference, If a client desires to cancel the trek then, the company will calculate the expense costs including permits, accommodation, and government taxes, the remaining amount will be refunded.
(c) In case a client has to postpone or transfer the booking to another individual, the reason for taking such measures must be made clear to the company. Additionally, a fee of USD 100 is required if the postpone or transfer of a trip has to be before 14 days of the scheduled departure date. Any options for postponing and transferring a trip will not be available during the two weeks prior to the departure date.
3. Travel Insurance
If you are joining any of the trips offered by Adventure Great Himalaya Treks and Expedition, make sure that you are insured against medical and personal accident risks. This insurance must include medical coverage, air ambulance, and helicopter rescue services. We also strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. You should be aware that some policies do not include, or restrict a cover for this type of travel. Make sure that the policy provides an adequate level of protection and covers you for the activities involved. You must carry a proof of insurance (your insurance certificate) with you while on a trip.
4.Health & Fitness
All members of the group are required to be in a good health and physical condition. It is important that the members with pre-existing medical problems or conditions make these known to the Company, at the time of booking. Medical and evacuation expenses are the responsibility of the client. All members of the group are required to consult their doctor for vaccination and other medical requirements for the trip, before their departure. The company reserves the right to require a medical certificate prior to booking the trip or departure.
5. Risk & Liabilities
We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once in a lifetime journey, we perform our duties honestly and seriously to make your journey very smooth and pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of the country.
Therefore, Adventure Great Himalaya and its related organizations shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, road blockage, or political unrest. Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spots.
- if the flight cancel from Kathmandu to lukla due to bad weather or any other cases You are responsible for extra hotel nights ($30/night) and meals in Kathmandu
- Nepal entry visa ($40 USD).
- Trekking equipment like Sleeping Bag Rental $1 per day and Down Jacket also $ 1 Per day.
- Lunch and Dinner in Kathmandu. $ 4 per meals
- Tips: We suggest a tip for the guide and porter after the trek – Plan on approximately 10% of the price of your trek.
- Drinking water. Drinking water is not including in our package so the clients should need to pay on the trek which you can buy a number of places the cost about $2 and $3 a bottle
- Wi- Fi- if you use to Facebook or send message to your friends or family. The Wi- Fi is available in some lodge in mountain. It cost: $5 an hour.
- Hot Shower: $4 and $6. Per person
- Battery charge: Charging electronic devices is possible in the tea houses and charging costs between $3 per hour.
- Bar bills– Coke $ 2- $3 Per Bottle , Beer $ 6-8 Per bottle.
7. Flight Cancel or Delays in Kathmandu or Lukla
Sometime flights from Kathmandu to Lukla /Kathmandu can be delayed or canceled for a day due to bad weather. It is very rarely, it can be happening even best season. So Adventure Great Himalaya Treks always suggest you to have added one more night in Kathmandu. if your trip goes to smoothly then, you might have some Kathmandu city tour and shopping souvenir.
The Flight to lukla or Kathmandu May departure to Ramechhap which is 145 kilometer, drive 4, 5 hours. We will provide the transportation. In case cancel your flight, we will rebook the following day. or if you want charter helicopter to lukla we will help to arrange it. The additional cost about $ 350 to 500 Per person,. Which the guest should be responsible. if you take helicopter instead of regular flight, we will refund you $ 160 for one way trip for your flight fair.
