I took a solo 5 day Mardi Himal trek recently with Adventure Great Himalaya. It was a relatively last minute booking but the owner Babu was very helpful in making an itinerary that perfectly suited my needs, and answered any questions I had quickly. It was also very well priced for everything that was included and was well planned.

The trek itself was amazing, with fantastic views of the mountains and interesting walks in the forest. We had a little bad luck with the weather for a couple of the days, but we got very lucky once we reached the top of the trek. My guide Dinesh also did a wonderful job of looking after me, giving advice, and answering all my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the area having done the trek many times before.

One thing I had unfortunately not taken were crampons for the ice and snow further up, but Dinesh very kindly let me one of his, without which I would have really struggled. He was also very willing to move the itinerary order around depending on how I was feeling and the general situation. For example we had some extra time on the last day so he thoughtfully showed me around Pokhara lake, something I would have otherwise missed.

Overall I very much recommend Adventure Great Himalaya, and if he is available, I highly suggest my guide Dinesh to go with you.

My husband and I had a private trekking tour to Mardi Himal in Oct2023. We had a great time from start to finish. I first contacted Babu (owner of the company), he replied personally and promptly to all questions that I had. He gave honest opinion and not trying to sell his tours.

Our guide was Krishna, very knowledgeable, genuine, kind, polite, and helpful. He took great care of us since day1 where we met in KTM, we asked him where we could buy trekking poles, jackets, etc he happily showed us around. He delivered great service and is always happy and positive. After the tour ends, he even checked on us to make sure we returned to town safely. Our porter was Rassem, a strong young man. He was always caring and making sure we were ok. He was there to help us with everything we needed, always smiling. Right before we reached the viewpoint I could not move any further, Rassem even helped carry me. Krishna and Rassem worked together so well.

We are both beginners. This was our 1st trek. We had an amazing time trekking. Mardi was so beautiful and we had such a good team. In the end we became friends and hope to stay in touch.

We plan to visit again in the near future. We will definitely use your service again!

We found that the itinerary and the service we received far exceeded the price we paid.

The Mardi Himal was my first trek in Nepal. I organized the trip with Adventure Great Himalaya Trek. Being a first timer and also someone who’s scared of heights, I had no problem hiking up to the base camp. The view was amazing, the trip was excellent. My guide Ram Thakuri was very accommodating and helpful.
Mr. Babu provided me with the details beforehand and also gave me trekking poles which really helped.
The experience was amazing and it’s all thanks to Babu and Ram.
The package prices are good compared to other tour companies.
