This extended trekking itinerary is designed for trekkers who want to experience the ultimate Himalayan journey, exploring remote valleys, high mountain passes, traditional villages, and dramatic landscapes across the Annapurna region.

Starting in Kathmandu, the adventure begins with a scenic drive to Dharapani, the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit. The trek gradually ascends through beautiful pine forests, rivers, and Himalayan villages before entering the restricted and culturally rich Nar Phu Valley, one of Nepal’s most remote trekking regions. Here, trekkers visit ancient Tibetan-style settlements such as Phu Village and Nar Village, surrounded by rugged landscapes and dramatic mountain views.

The trail then rejoins the classic Annapurna Circuit at Manang, a famous acclimatization stop offering spectacular views of Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. From here, trekkers explore the high-altitude route to Tilicho Base Camp, the gateway to the world’s highest glacial lake region near Tilicho Lake.

One of the biggest highlights of the trek is crossing Thorong La Pass (5,416 m), the highest point of the Annapurna Circuit. From the top, trekkers enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas before descending to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath Temple.

The journey continues through the picturesque villages ofKagbeni, Marpha, and the natural hot springs of Tatopani. Afterward, the trek heads into the famous Annapurna Sanctuary, where trekkers reach Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre.

The final section of this epic journey follows the scenic ridge trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp, offering some of the most stunning close-up views of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna range. The trek concludes with a descent to Siding and a drive to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, before returning to Kathmandu.
