Arrival in Kathmandu

Fly to Lukla 2800m (Rest and free day)

On this day, after your early morning breakfast, you’ll head towards the Tribhuwan International Airport to catch your flight to Lukla. You’ll embark on the journey by soaring across the sky and relishing the aerial beauty of the region. It takes around 45 minutes to reach Lukla until then, you’ll be treated to the magnificent beauty of elevated hills, breathtaking snowy landscapes, temples, monasteries, and distinct settlements.

Trek from Lukla to Chutang (3450m, 4 hours)

Upon landing at Lukla, you’ll take a short break and watch the Khumbu region for the 1st time. After catching your breath, you’ll continue your journey towards Chutang. You’ll pass through rugged surfaces and elevate in altitude to reach Chutang from Lukla. The hike takes around 4 hours to accomplish until then, you’ll diverted by the magical beauty of the Himalayan region and distinct settlements. Upon arriving at Chutang, you’ll spend the night at one of the finest teahouses in the region.

Trek from Chutang to Chatra la pass ( 4600m) and trek to Thulikharaka ( 3890m, 6 hours)

This day marks the beginning of the challenges of the epic journey, but it is not that difficult that your experiences cannot handle. On this day, after your early morning breakfast, you’ll trek to Chetra La Pass. First, you’ll be passing through steep ascents and ascending in altitude to reach Chetra La pass. Upon arriving at Chetra La Pass, you’ll descend along the route to reach Thulikharka to spend the night. On the way, you’ll catch stunning glimpses of Lumding Himal, Karyolung Peak, and many other mountains and valleys.

Trek from Thulikharka to Kothey (3634m, 5 hours)

The journey stretches further through the lush green valley and rhododendron and pine forests. You’ll begin the journey alongside the Hinku River through continuous ascents and descents. Following the trail will lead you to the western side of the Hinku Valley and as you advance through the trails, you’ll start to catch magical glimpses of Mera Peak. You’ll spend overnight at Kothey, one of the beautiful traditional villages of the region.

Trek from Kothey to Thangnak( 4350m, 4 hours)

Our trek to Thangnak begins after an early morning breakfast from Kothey. The hike continues through a lush green valley and charming rhododendron alongside the Hinku River. Soon after a short hike, we arrive at Gondishung, where we’ll have our lunch. After a short break, the journey extends towards Thangnak through a 200-year-old monastery named Lungsumgba Gompa. Then, we continue our trek until we arrive at Thangnak, where we’ll spend the night.

Trek from Tangnag to Khare ( 5000m, 4 hours)

Now as we’re closer to our Mera Peak Climbing, we’ll have to acclimatize to let our body adapt to the changing surroundings. To acclimatize properly, we’ll be heading from Tangnag to Khare. The journey takes us through the lateral moraines towards the Hinku Nub and Shar glaciers. The journey will serve you with the clear and excellent beauty of Charpate Himal and the northern face of Mera Peak. We stay overnight at Khare.

Acclimation day in Khare

There is a risk of catching altitude sickness if the body can’t adapt to the changing surroundings. As we’ve ascended much in altitude, we take this day to acclimatize properly. This lets our body adapt to the changing atmospheric pressure, and we won’t likely face altitude sickness. On this day, you’ll look after mountaineering equipment and prepare for summiting Mera Peak. You’ll tune your body with lightweight exercises and also explore some nearby settlements on this day.

Trek from Khare to Mera High camp ( 5750, 6-7 hours)

This day, you’ll be climbing through snowy and glacial segments of the mountain, and it is also marked as the prior day of summiting the Mera Peak. On this day, after proper acclimatization at Khare, we’ll trek towards Mera High Camp. The journey begins trailing through snowy slopes all the way to Mera High Camp, passing through Mera La Pass. The journey will serve you the magnificent beauty of Lhotse, Makalu, Everest, and Nuptse. You’ll spend the night camping in the High Camp under the bright light of stars and moon.

Summit Mera peak (6476 m) and trek to Kongma Dingma

With being equipped with essential mountaineering equipment, we begin our journey to the top of Mera Peak. It takes around 5-6 hours to summit the Mera Peak and to accomplish our journey by noon, we start our summit in the early morning. The team will be led by professional mountain climbers who assure you a safe and enjoyable experience. Upon reaching the summit of Mera Peak, you’ll be left awe-struck by the spectacular beauty of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori, Cho Oyu and many other peaks. After relishing the beauty of the stunning mountainous landscapes, we descend back to Mera High Camp and trek to Kongma Dinga. Overnight at one of the finest teahouses of Kongma Dingma.

Kongma Dingma: rest day (4800m)

The rip-roaring adventure has taken to the altitude of 4800 by today. It is important to acclimatize to let our body adapt to the changing surroundings. Also, you may feel sore and tiredness after summiting the Mera Peak, and this is the perfect day for resting. We will explore some nearby areas and prepare ourselves for the adventurous event to come. We stay overnight at Kongma Dingma by camping.

Kongma Dingma to Seto Pokhari (5035m, 6 hours)

The journey begins from Kongma Dingma after early morning breakfast. The journey takes you through Hunku Valley and trek alongside the Hunku Khola. Depending on the weather, you’ll be able to enjoy the beauty of Chamlang, Baruntse, Lhotse, and Everest, along with magical glimpses of cascading waterfalls or frozen waterfalls. The journey will be through boulders and ravines, and you’ll be able to catch the stunning beauty of serene lakes on the way. The final part will demand ascending through snowy trails, and you’ll spend your night camping at Seto Pokhari.

Seto Pokhari to Amphu Labcha Base Camp (South) - 5650m, 6 hours

Our journey extends towards Amphu Labcha Base Camp through Hunku Valley while sightseeing numerous rivers, waterfalls, lakes, and Hunku glaciers. We’ll also be able to enjoy the beauty of the thundering Hunku River and Panch Pokhari along the way. The journey takes around 6 hours in total and upon arriving, we spend our time at Amphu Labcha Base Camp.

Amphu Labcha Base Camp cross Amphulapsa Pass-5845m, to Chhukung -4730m -10 Hour

Our riveting journey stretches all the way to Chhukung from Amphu Labcha Base Camp. The journey is challenging as we’ll be passing through Amphu Lapcha Pass, which is a technical high mountain pass. The journey takes us through steep slopes, glaciers, terrains, and outstanding icefalls. Along the way, we pass through Imja Tsho Lake and get glimpses of numerous glaciers like Ama Dablam Glacier, Imja Glacier, Lhotse Sar Glacier, Lhotse Glacier, and the mountainous landscapes of Imja Tse (Island Peak), Amphulapcha, Ama Dablam, Amphu Gyabjen and Chhukung Ri. After a strenuous journey, we stay overnight at Chukkung.

Free Day

This day is marked as a free day to give your body rest, acclimatize and explore some nearby places. You can hike somewhere near and explore Himalayan settlements on this day. On this day, you’ll prepare for summiting the Island Peak.

Island Peak Base camp (5000m, 4 hours)

On this day, you’ll begin your journey through a short trek all the way to the base of Imja Tse (Island Peak). The journey serves you with the excellent beauty of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Nuptse. You’ll pass through Imja Lake on the trails to the higher part of Imja Valley. To give your body enough rest and energy, you’ll rest your night camping under the night full of stars in Island Peak Base Camp.

Sumit Island Peak- Back to Chukung

This is another major day of this adventurous journey. By now, the journey has taken you through Mera Peak and Amphu Lapcha, and on this day, you’ll be starting another major event, summit Island Peak. Island Peak is also known as Imja Tse and stands at an altitude of 6189m. You’ll be equipped with all the necessary mountaineering equipment and prepare yourself for summiting the Island Peak. Climbing Island Peak involves technical aspects, and you’ll follow the detailed guidelines of the experienced guide. To reach the summit of Island Peak by noon, you’ll start the journey early in the morning. By evening, you’ll be back at Chhukung to spend the night.

Trek to Lobuche (4910) via Kongma La Pass - 8 hours

The journey now stretches towards seeking the beauty of the tallest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest. To reach the lap of Mt. Everest, the journey begins through Kongmo La Pass to Lobuche. Along the way, you’ll pass through Dingogma while catching stunning views of Nangkar Tsang, Kongma Tse, Chhunkung, Chhunkung Ri and many other mountains. After the strenuous journey of 8 hours of walking, we’ll spend our overnight at Lobuche.

Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Goraksheph - 9 hours

This is another major event of this rip-roaring advgenture. On this day, you’ll begin your trekking towards the Everest Base Camp. The Everest Base Camp lies at an altitude of 5364m, and the remarkable Himalayan adventure takes you to the lap of the tallest mountain in the world. Upon reaching the Everest Base Camp, you’ll attain tranquility and be amazed at the spectacular beauty of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Makalu, Lobuche, and many more. Climb Kala Pathar and Trek to Zhongla -6 hours

The journey stretches all the way to Kala Patthar to seek the panoramic beauty of Everest and the splendid beauty of Nuptse, Changtse, glimpses of the northern flank, and the summit of Lhotse. Kala Patthar is approximately 1.5 kilometers from Gorakshep and is a challenging hike to reach there as it stands at an altitude of 5,644m. After enjoying the magical beauty of the Himalayas, we’ll start our trek to Zhongla, where we’ll spend our night.

Cho la pass and trekking Thangnak -7 hours

Now, the journey leans towards Gokyo Valley. For this, we’ll start our trekking journey after ourn early morning breakfast from Zhongla. We’ll reach Thangnak through Cho La Pass along the way. The trekking involves through continuous ascents and descents and serves you excellent beauty of Lobuche West and Lobuche East. We’ll spend our night at Thangnak, preparing ourselves for the journey to Gokyo Valley and Climbing Gokyo Ri.

Trek to Gokyo -5 hours

On this day, we’ll begin our trekking journey from Thangnak to Gokyo. The route takes through the scenic beauty of sherpa settlements and monasteries. Trekking to Goyo Valley serves you excellent beauty of Gokyo Ri and six Gokyo Lakes.

Climb Gokyo Ri (5483m) and visit Gokyo Lake

On this day, we’ll summit the Gokyo Ri and visit the freshwater lakes of the Gokyo Valley. It takes around 2-3 hours of ascending to reach the summit of Gokyo Ri, and from there, you’ll be able to witness the magical view of the Ngozumpa glacier. This region also serves the excellent beauty of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and many other mountains. Upon reaching the Gokyo Valley Lakes, you’ll see the six freshwater lakes that are Thonak Cho, Gokyo Cho (Dudh Pokhari), Gyazumpa Cho, Tanjung Cho, Longpongo and Ngojumba.

Trek to Marlung via Renjo la pass (6-7 hours)

As the epic adventure is starting to tilt towards an end, we’ll embark on the journey back to Lukla. For that, we’ll start our trekking via Renjo La Pass and reach Marlung. Along the way, we’ll catch the stunning beauty of Relama Tsho and Renjo Lake. Then, our journey begins alongside the Bhote Koshi River and Lumde. Upon arriving at Marlung, we’ll spend our night at one of the finest lodges in the region.

Trek to Namche - 7 hours

From Marlung, we pass through places like Tarnga, Thame, Samde, Mende, and Phurte until finally arriving at Namche Bazaar. We’ll be following the routes of ascents and descents and ultimately descend by reaching Namche Bazaar, which lies at an altitude of 3440m. We’ll spend our night at Namche Bazaar and you can explore nearby settlements and Namche Monastery. You can immerse in the local culture, shop around the village, and delve into the delectable feast.

Trek to Lukla -7 hours

After the early morning breakfast at Namche Bazaar, we begin our trekking toward Lukla. It takes around 7-8 hours of trekking to reach Lukla as we’ll be passing through places like Monjo, Bengkar, Toktok, Phakding, Burning, Ghat, and Chheplung. Along the way, we’ll trek through numerous village settlements, elevated greenery hills, rhododendron forests, and alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Fly to Manthali- drive back to Kathmandu

This day marks the end of this mesmerizing journey, and we bid farewell to the Himalayas and the Khumbu region on our scenic flight from Lukla to Manthali. The memories made for almost a month hit you harder, but you’ll still be able to catch the stunning aerial beauty of the mountains you summited. After arriving at Manthali, you’ll catch a drive to Kathmandu.

Free Days

The journey to the mountains has ended, and this marks a free day for you to take a rest and explore some nearby places. You will be presented with options like Swayambhunath, Bouddhnath, Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and many more to visit and explore. It is not possible to visit all the places in a single day, which is why you’ll visit some of these places. You can also try delectable Nepali and Newari dishes inside Kathmandu Valley.

Departure from Nepal

This is the day of your departure from Nepal. You can always extend your stay period and embark on another journey in Nepal. Looking after your departure date, you’ll be dropped off at Tribhuwan International Airport.
