Transportation Mode

You will enjoy the scenic and adventurous drive in Jeep from Kathmandu to Dhap. The  Jeep available  both private and shared Jeep options. The private Jeep costs approximately USD 350, while the shared option is only USD 25 per person.

The jeep ride is truly very joyful as you can witness the most beautiful views hills and serene rivers. The seating arrangements are comfortable, and the views of the varied landscapes, and highway settlements will keep you engaged throughout the journey.

 

You will travel through beautiful places like Dhulikhel and Khurkot. There will be stop-over points for refreshments, where you can try different delicious local snacks.  The beautiful views of the Sunkoshi rivers can also be seen during the journey.  Moving along places like Ghurmi and Okhaldhunga, you will finally reach Dhap. It takes around 8 hours to reach Dhap from Kathmandu.

6 Days Pikey Peak Trek Cost 

The cost of Pikey Peak Trek starts from US$500 per person if you trek in the group.  The cost of transportation, full board meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), and accommodation are included in the package. The package also covers the cost of a guide and porter. One porter will assist two members.

 

All the necessary permits required for Pikey Peak Trek will be arranged by us, and it is included in the package cost. We will also provide you with a Sleeping Bag, Down Jackets, Trekking Poles, a Duffel Bag, and an Everest Trekking map, in case you need it, and you can return it after the trek ends. All the government taxes and service charges are included in the package.

 

The package doesn’t cover the cost of International Air Fare, Travel Insurance or the personal expenses. In many teahouses or lodges, you may have to pay to use extra facilities like a Hot Shower, or wifi.

 

Ideal Itinerary-

Our standard Pikey Peak itinerary spans 6 days, starting and ending in Kathmandu. It covers a wide range of destinations including local villages, Tibetan monasteries, and Pikey Peak viewpoint. For a more comfortable journey with an additional day, you can extend the itinerary to 7 days, allowing more time to explore Everest
