This marvelous journey starts with an overland drive on nice highway and then on rough scenic road to Manang area at Dharapani village to begin the trekking towards famous Annapurna circuit trail.
Trek leads through interesting villages and towns of Temang and Chame and towards higher cooler areas at Manang village after exploring its interesting monastery of Braga in the backdrop of high snowcapped mountains.
In Manang with rest day, visiting its nice Tibetan Buddhist cultural villages with close views of Annapurna-Gangapurna-Chulu peaks, then heading over high Thorong-La Pass to reach the Kaligandaki River valley at Jomsom after walking past holy Muktinath temple area.
Walk leads past windswept town and villages including charming Marpha and Tukuche, famous for apples and its products, then downhill to warmer area at Tatopani with hot spring to refresh after long days of trekking.
Finally this marvelous Annapurna circuit trek ends at famous touristic city in Pokhara after walking through Ghorepani and Poon Hill for stunning sunrise views over chain of mountains.
Rest day at Manang for local hikes and acclimatization.
Trek to Yak Kharka 4,110 m – 04 hours.
Trek to Thorang High Camp 4,600 m – 04 hrs.
Cross Thorang-La 5,416 m and to Muktinath 3,800 m – 07 hrs.
Trek to Marpha 2, 670 via Jomsom 2, 715 m – 06 hours.
Trek to Lete 2,480m – 06 hrs.
Trek to Tatopani 1,190m – 06 hrs.
Trek to Ghorepani 2,750 m – 06 hrs.
Trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,500m – 05 hours walk.
Trek to Nayapul or Bhirethati and drive to Pokhara.
Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
At Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport you will be well received by AGH guide and staff for transfer to your hotels in the hub of Kathmandu city, after getting refreshed our guide / leader briefs of Annapurna Circuit trek, hotels, lodge, includes responsible trekking with welcome dinner in a nice Nepali restaurant includes culture programs.
Day 02: Preparation for Trekking.
Today you will prepare for trekking. buying the equipment. free and relax.
Day 03: Drive to Bhulbhule 840 m via Beshishar 800 m – 07 hrs.
Starting our wonderful journey with a drive on Nepal’s main and interesting highway to reach at Bhulbhule. it takes 6, 7 hour. Overnight Bhulbhule.
Day 04: Trek to Chamje 1430m, 6 hour.
Today you will prepare for trekking. buying the equipment. if you are free , you might go sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
It will take to trek about 6 hours to Chamje. The trail goes flat for the first part then climbs steeply and the path is cut into the sheer cliff-face some 200-300m above the riverbed. Eventually we descend to the stone village of Jagat (1330m.) situated on a shelf which juts into the precipitous Marsyangdi valley. Now the trail begins to observe small ups and down to Chamje through the forests.
Day 05: Trek to Dharapni. 1953m, 6 hour
We start our trekking by descending to the river and cross another suspension bridge; we begin a climb to Sattale (1550m.) on a path so steep that it seems one slip would send you hurtling down into the valley. We continue on an undulating path above the river, and at one point, where a tributary flows in from the opposite bank, the main river becomes covered with huge boulders that hide the water. Climbing a meandering path to the top of the hill, we will see the level plain of Tal (1700m.). Beyond Tal, the valley narrows and the path becomes high and winding, and in several areas hewn from the rock itself. Beyond the small village of Karte (1900m.), there is a bit more cliff-walking before the path drops again to the river and we cross a another suspension bridge and arrive at Dharapani.
Day 06:Trek to Chame 2,670 m – 05 hours.
First day walk leads through cool rhododendron and pine forest passing Bagachap and Danque villages to reach Timang village into more Buddhist area, with super view of Mt. Manaslu 8,163m / 26,781ft, from this village few hours trek Chame for overnight stop, a major town and headquarter of Manang district.
Day 07:Trek to Pisang 3, 230 m – 05 hrs.
From here onward air gets cooler leading close to mountains with beautiful forest of rhododendron and pine trees, following Marshyangdi River upstream to Bhratang village.
From here uphill into pine trees to Dhukure Pokhari a small place with few lodge and views of Chulu and Pisang peak, after a lunch downhill to Pisang village for overnight stop.
Day 08:Trek to Manang Village 3,450 m – 05 hrs.
After overnight in Pisang village within Manang valley offering mountains views as altitude gains from here onward.
Walking into forest with short uphill with views of Annapurna II and III, Gangapurna Chulu and Pisang peak, then reaching Hongde village with a small air strip, from here tree lines fades to barren, arid landscapes.
On route Manang village visit old Braga monastery with Buddhist relics, ancient wall painting, frescos and super panorama of Annapurna Himalaya, from here an hour walk to Manang village.
The houses here are of traditional Tibetan style with culture and traditions.
Day 09:Rest day at Manang for local hikes and acclimatization.
An important rest day for acclimatization before reaching high altitude and up to Thorang –la, here with short hike exploring Manang village beneath towering Annapurna and Gangapurna peaks, a nice short hike up for views of Gangapurna Glacier and the Manang glacial Lake.
Day 10:Trek to Yak Kharka 4,110 m – 04 hours.
After a good rest at Manang, walk towards Yak Kharka, an interesting high altitude walk with views of mountains, crossing small streams to reach at Yak Kharka, a small settlement with incredible views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Chulu Peaks.
Day 11:Trek to Thorang High Camp 4,600 m – 04 hrs.
Morning walk leads closer to Thorang-la as the walk progress crossing a bridge and then a climb along the Jarjung river, then leading at Thorung Phedi for short rest and then climb the last hour uphill to Thorang High Camp for overnight stop.
Day 12:Cross Thorang-La 5,416 m and to Muktinath 3,800 m – 07 hrs.
Start the early morning walk on this Big Day! A thrill and highlight of this great adventure, after breakfast a long climb up to Thorang-la with steep haul to reach at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft on top of Thorang-la festooned with Buddhist prayer flags.
Highest point of the adventure certainly requires high spirit and strong mind to reach this high point.
The top offers superb vista landscapes and snowcapped peaks, from here a long descend to Muktinath at 3,800 m.
Muktinath a holy place for both Hindu and Buddhist the word Muktinath literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’.
Day 13:Trek to Marpha 2, 670 via Jomsom 2, 715 m – 06 hours.
After Muktinath, rest of the journey is easier with moderate walks all the way with a big drop of 1,200m downhill to Kaligandaki river valley, this pleasant walk leads to Kaligandaki river valley, from here walk to Jomsom, headquarter town of Mustang area with a small airstrip above Kaligandaki River. After Jomsom walk to Marpha, one of the most charming village with white painted houses, paved streets and well kept lodges. At Marpha celebrate with apple products cider, brandy and juice this area from Kagbeni to Larjung is famous for delicious apples.
Day 14:Trek to Lete 2,480m – 06 hrs.
From Marpha onward, walk is enjoyable following Kaligandaki river downstream with views of Tukuche peak, Dhaulagiri and Mt. Nilgiri walk to Larjung village, after few hours walk getting back into tree lines of pine, oaks and rhododendron forest and then reaching at Kalapani village, another lovely village with grand views of Mt. Annapurna I, Nilgiris and Dhaulagiri, a short downhill brings at Lete village for overnight stop.
Day 15:Trek to Tatopani 1,190m – 06 hrs.
Walk from Kalapani and Lete onward leads to dramatic change in vegetation and climate, as walk leads between two giant peaks of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna forming world deepest gorge.
The first two hours of trek leads through Ghasa village with view of snow capped peaks into forest.
After Ghasa a southern end of Mustang area mostly dominated by Thakali people ethnic tribe till Tatopani village.
This pleasant walk continues leading back to paddy fields in warm sub-tropical climate to Tatopani passing beautiful waterfalls of Rupsi.
Tatopani (Hot Spring) village the valley is quite constricted and it is quite warm with sub-tropic climate and vegetation, Tatopani is another nice village with large hot spring pools just by the bank of the River Kaligandaki.
Day 16:Trek to Ghorepani 2,750 m – 06 hrs.
After a wonderful time at Tatopani, trek continues on the nice winding trail for an hour, our route diverts heading uphill with steep climb then with gradual up all the way through dense forest to reach at Chitre, from here an hour climb to Ghorepani village with fantastic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South with Vara-Shikar known as Annapurna Fang.
Ghorepani famous and popular Pun Hill a view point offers super views of world’s three highest peaks and range of other mountains with striking sunrise and sunset.
Day 17:Trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,500m – 05 hours walk.
Morning an hour hike to Pun-Hill at 3,210m for sunrise views over array of mountains from Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu to Annapurna and as far to Ganesh Himal in the far eastern horizon including the majestic Mt. Machhapuchare “The Fish Tail”.
From here walk into lovely rhododendron forest, and then a long descend from Ulleri village to Tirkhedhunga for last overnight in the hills of Annapurna Himalaya.
Day 18:Trek to Nayapul or Bhirethati and drive to Pokhara.
Our last day of trekking leads downhill through nice farm villages and views of waterfalls near Bhirethati and then to Nayapul where this fabulous walks ends with couple hours drive to Pokhara after a wonderful time up in high mountains.
Overnight in Pokhara, a scenic and lovely spot with hotels by the lake Phewa where Annapurna Himal reflects on its pristine calm water.
Day 19:Drive back to Kathmandu.
After a marvelous time on high mountains and hills of Annapurna Himal, morning depart Pokhara after breakfast with overland drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 20:International departure homeward bound.
Today, last day in unique Nepal of Himalayan wonders, after great adventure and experience on Annapurna Circuit trekking and as your flight time AGH staff transfer you to Kathmandu airport for your international departure homeward bound or to your next port of call.

The Annapurna Circuit trek is challenging and Adventures Trekking In nepal. You will be trekking for 4-7 hours a day for over two weeks, so you will need to be peak physical condition. The best way to prepare is to get as many kilometers under foot on hikes in your home country.

If an accident should occur that requires medical assistance and evacuation you will definitely want trekking insurance that can cover the costs of air ambulance and treatment
