From Namche, we will trek to Tengboche where we will see the biggest monastery in Khumbu. 

From Tengboche, we will trek to the beautiful village of Dingboche. You will have your second rest day there. Our 12 days Everest base camp trek package costs USD 1100 to 1150. This cost includes all your arrangements during the trek. It includes your trekking permit fees, cost of food and drinks during the trek, accommodation cost, and so on. 

Talking about what is not included in the cost, the cost excludes travel insurance, visa fees, trekking equipment fees, and personal expenses on the trek. But, you should find your own accommodation while you are in Kathmandu. So, the food and accommodation cost in Kathmandu is also excluded.

  • Take care of your body. Walk slowly, eat a healthy diet, and drink plenty of water while trekking. Take an oximeter with you. It will help you monitor your oxygen saturation level in blood.

This place is not only known for the monastery, but also for amazing Himalayan panorama. From the monastery courtyard, you can see astonishing views of the several Himalayas on all sides. 

Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongdi Ri, etc look stunning from Tengboche. The incredible sunset views over the towering Himalayas is a highlight of Tengboche. At Tengboche, there is a bakery where you can have cakes, pastries, tea, coffee, and hot drinks.

Sagarmatha National Park

Sagarmatha National Park is a natural UNESCO World Heritage site in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Situated in a very high altitude, Sagarmatha National Park houses hundreds of plant, animals, reptiles, and amphibian species.
